Sometimes, and especially right now, it can seem like it’s the end of the world. Like the world is upside down, like everything is crashing and burning into flames. I have been fortunate enough to not have been that affected by the pandemic. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t hard for me. Others have it much harder than I do and I cannot imagine what they’re going through. One of my closest friends recently told me that her mom has cancer and that they had to do surgery. She said the surgery process did not got as smoothly as they planned and it took them 9 hours. Although she explained this to me over text, I could tell she was hurting. I’ve never ever been in a situation even remotely similar to hers and I did my best to support her the best I could. I told her something that I think everyone on here deserves to be told. “Tough things don’t last, but tough people do.” You are strong enough to get through whatever you are going through. You were built for this challenge. You can get through this.
There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Always a silver lining on a rain cloud. It’s important for people to know that everything will be okay. Its important to keep yourself motivated and happy. Please keep in mind that everything will work out in the end. The road may be endless and bumpy, but your final destination is sun-filled and everlasting.
This is so encouraging! Thank you @Kris
“Tough things don’t last, but tough people do.” I love this!!!
I love your post @Kris! I'm sorry about your friend, but I do agree with you. That this will all be over soon, we just have to keep going. And I love that quote that you found about tough people coming out of difficult situations. Your post is truly inspirational and definitely needed right now. Thanks for sharing!
