365 Stories (Vinny's Story)

The last year has offered myriad difficulties and challenges that we've all had to face together. While each month had its own tragedies and each week had its own challenges, every day was its own story, and is one that everyone tells differently. It's those facets that present the beauty of humanity and the wonders of our expression, and is part of what makes this site so amazing!! Personally, the past year has been both one of the worst of my life, and one of the best. In the time that I've had to learn how to let go of people I held on to for years, I've also found new ways to express myself and support those around me. The last few months have caused nearly unbearable anguish, loss, and tragedy, and have presented lots of family drama, history, and so many challenges. But in that time, I've also been able to get closer to people that have made my life so much better. I got to meet and get closer with my girlfriend, I got to meet a lot of new, amazing peeps, and even after a year of so much difficulty, and so many times where I went day to day wondering if I could get through the next, I've realized that it was all worth it. In the end, it is the compilation of the stories we write from day to day that creates the series that is our life story-- something so elegant and unique that no matter how hard it is to write, the author will come through stronger, more resilient, and more incredible than ever.
